Then you have about 30 tags, would be able to put about 3 boxes across (would be nice to have some tags you prefer on top or even different colour) and it is a bit long, but much shorter than now when you have about 20 links on page. Yeah, it needs to be seen.
Well, you can even easily make it an Opensearch complient search engine, and put an link rel="search" type="application/opensearchdescription+xml" tag in the html head, and that way it would work with FF 2.0 and IE 7.0
I think this is a definite no-no. You might want to take another look at the data model being used here, one option would be having one document representing the link and one document for every user 'subscribing' that link. User name would be stored in the link document and the two documents would be connected by link and user name.
If I've understood correctly you've created a private link when you were logged in, then you logged out and you can no longer see the private link anywhere?
This is working correctly, you will only see your private links when you are logged in. And when you are logged in you will see them in both the "All Links" and "My Links" screens but they will show up with a "private" flag so that you know that only you can see them.
