I requested that IBM add a new Role in the ACL for "Message Recall" ability so Admins or other designated users can Recall Messages on a user's behalf. (I'm not going to be dogmatic about the method...I merely suggested the ACL Role because it seems a natural way to assign it and retain security.)
Allow more granular control of the Database Administrators security setting on the server document for roaming upgrade
Note: Idea description updated to correct functionality after further testing. Roaming at registration is fine. Upgrade to roaming afterwards is not for our service desk.
We currently delegate user registration to the service desk and desktop levels.
We would also like to delegate roaming upgrades to the service ...
Currently, program documents can only run programs. They can't execute server commends, like 'route *' or 'tell router quit', etc. Of course, they can run a program that executes a command, and while it's not actually documented anywhere that I can find, it is pretty well-known that you can run a ...
Often mail will be rejected by mail rules, often erroneously. When the rejected by mail rule message either hits the senders prompt, or logs on the server, Please give some sort of hint as to which, or even which type of mail rule was broken.
Usefull for clustered servers, why not remove this file automaticly when server upgraded or fix pack installed
As internal data security becomes more and more of a concern, allowing end-users access to server configuration information poses more of a risk than when the Domino Directory was first envisioned and implemented.
While we can make customizations to the Domino Directory to accommodate our needs, the product "off ...
In relation to the defragmentation idea, allow for compact -c to actually ADD white space. This can help to ensure that the database can have some "room for growth" and alleviate some disk concerns.

- grabbing the one linked in some old redbook
- DIY writing
It would be nice ...
Currently Notes.ini variables on the server can be set in a few ways; by directly editing the Notes.ini, using the Notes.ini tab on the server config doc, or issuing a set config <variable>=<value> command at the console.
Some notes.ini settings are set through various options in both the server ...

Same concept for the BiMonthly but it would be run on ...
We are currently "tied' to the Domino Administrator client which currently only runs on Windows. I'd like to be able from a Linux client to telnet/ssh to the Domino server's console and run any commands remotely w/o need any special "client' to connect to it. Authentication would be done via ...
