Sometimes administrators would like to know if a specific database (especially system database like names.nsf) has conflict documents without changing its design or writing agents. Since "[$Conflict] is present]" with FT Search does not work, it may be better to have some easy ways to find if the database has conflicts.
One of the possible idea is to add some option in "show database" command, and it shows the current number of conflict documents.
Or another way is to add some command option (or notes.ini parameter) in catalog task to record the number of conflicts. This also can be a good help to find conflicts in the whole domain.
There might be several tools which can do the same issue (find conflict documents in a specific database), but it's much preferred to have this function in Domino itself.

The easiest way - to add a View in which select all conflict documents; as actually we do. This View to inherite to all databases.
But I vote for.

@1 I concur. I show many of my clients how to do this and provide them one to use in their key databases.
